Chain and Item Maintenance Updates

  1. Chain Maintenance

    1. Navigate to the Details tab for the selected Chain

    2. Click the check box next to Enforce Sell-By Dates

    3. Click Save

  2. Item Maintenance

    1. Navigate to the General tab for the selected Item

    2. Click the check box next to Enforce Sell-By Dates

      1. Optional: to indicate an item should not be sold to customers a certain number of days before the Sell-By Date, enter that number in the Require an Additional [#] Days field
    3. Click Save

Note: Enforce Sell-By Dates must be enabled for both the Chain and the Item for the dates to be collected

Suppress Sell-By Dates on Invoices

There is no current requirement for Sell-By Dates to be printed on an invoice

Manchego currently defaults to printing a sell-by date when it is captured, but that setting can be updated in the Customer Maintenance

  1. Navigate to the Detail tab of the selected Customer

  2. Click the check box next to Suppress Sell-By Dates on Printed Invoices

  3. Click Save

  4. If the Sell-By Date is not suppressed, it will appear on an invoice under the item
